Genshin Impact Guide: Locations of Sea of Clouds Geoculus

Liyue’s Sea of Clouds is an enchanting region in Genshin Impact, featuring the bustling Liyue Harbor and iconic landmarks like Guyun Stone Forest and Mount Tianheng. The area contains 19 Geoculus, with some proving to be quite challenging to collect. Players often find that retrieving these precious collectibles demands extensive climbing and stamina management, making the pursuit potentially tedious.

To streamline the collection of Geoculus, it may be wise to tackle easier areas within Liyue first, such as Qiongji Estuary. However, for those eager to dive into the adventure, here is a comprehensive guide on collecting the Geoculus scattered throughout the Sea of Clouds.

Geoculus Location 1

Start your search at the Statue of the Seven. Ascend the nearby hill, and you will spot the Geoculus nestled in the center.

Geoculus Location 2

Head back to the Statue of the Seven and proceed towards the elevated house. Climb the adjacent cliff and drop onto the house’s roof to claim the Geoculus.

Geoculus Location 3

This Geoculus is considered one of the most difficult to secure; it requires a lengthy and calculated climb. Once you reach the summit, use a Pyro character to ignite the torch for the Geoculus and also uncover a Luxurious Chest. Keep an eye out for spots to regain stamina while climbing.

Geoculus Location 4

The next Geoculus can be effortlessly collected by gliding directly west from the tall mountain.

Geoculus Location 5

This Geoculus is located behind a locked door. To unlock it, defeat all nearby Hilichurls. You’ll then need to drop into a small crevice, followed by another crack leading to the Geoculus and three Common Chests.

Geoculus Location 6

Ascend Mount Tianheng to reach the pinnacle, where you’ll encounter a Ruin Hunter. Defeat it and activate the Geo Monument to access a path leading to the Geoculus. Creating a Geo construct here will provide the height needed to retrieve it, making the Geo Traveler an excellent choice.

Glide westward from Mount Tianheng to easily spot this Geoculus during your descent.

Geoculus Location 8

Head to the opposite mountain of Mount Tianheng. Ascend, and during your climb, you’ll find stairs that lead to a small cave holding a Geoculus.

Geoculus Location 9

This Geoculus can be misleadingly marked at the peak of Mount Tianheng. Instead, glide from the teleport waypoint on the opposite mountain to locate some Hilichurls within a cave. Defeating them will grant you access to the Geoculus hidden inside.

Geoculus Location 10

Find this Geoculus located under the left statue near the exit of Liyue Harbor leading to Lisha. Enter through a small crevice at the statue’s base to collect it. Additionally, lighting four torches with a Pyro character will reveal an Exquisite Chest.

Geoculus Location 11

The subsequent two Geoculus are en route to Guyun Stone Forest. The first is easily found atop a mossy branch near the teleport waypoint.

Geoculus Location 12

For the next Geoculus, employ ice bridging with a Cryo character like Kaeya, as it sits atop water.

Geoculus Location 13

To efficiently access Guyun Stone Forest, glide from the cliff edge where Geoculus 11 is located. Upon arrival, simply walk towards the teleport waypoint for an easy collection.

Geoculus Location 14

Continue to the island directly in front of the teleport waypoint and scale the mountain to retrieve this Geoculus.

Geoculus Location 15

Similar to the previous location, climb to the summit of the mountain on the island where the Domain of Guyun is situated. Using the Geo Traveler’s abilities will be advantageous for constructing a pathway to the Geoculus.

Geoculus Location 16

From the mountain in the previous location, glide towards the Alcor, Beidou’s ship, to find the Geoculus perched on top of one of the masts.

Geoculus Location 17

Travel to the island west of the Domain of Guyun, taking caution as there are many Ruin Guards in the vicinity. To claim the Geoculus atop a mountain, activate the four-leaf clover pinwheel near the base to ride the wind current to your prize.

Geoculus Location 18

Position yourself at the Geo Hypostasis arena and advance to the cliff’s edge. Activate the four-leaf clover pinwheel here to attain the necessary height to glide to the island where the Geoculus awaits. If you’re in co-op mode, standing on the heart engraving with another player will yield a Luxurious Chest and an achievement.

Geoculus Location 19

The final Geoculus presents a challenge, being located on the Pearl Galley ship near the southernmost port of Liyue Harbor. To reach the ship, make your way to the southern rock formation near the boundary zone. A glide from here will allow you to access the ship and navigate a few structures to gather the Geoculus.

Exploring the Pearl Galley triggers the world quest “The Ocean Pearl.”Completing this quest enables you to request Pinghai, a boatman in Liyue Harbor, to ferry you to the Pearl Galley at any time without having to glide or ice bridge.
