One of the two upcoming artifact sets expected to be released in Genshin Impact 4.6 is Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, which has been leaked. According to beta information, this set offers an ATK bonus and powerful stackable damage buffs through the Bond of Life effect, making it a potentially overpowered set. However, its usefulness is limited as not all characters are able to utilize the Bond of Life mechanic on the artifact.

Genshin Impact 4.6: Upcoming Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy Set Effects Revealed

It is anticipated that Genshin Impact 4.6 will introduce two fresh artifact sets. One of these is known as the Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, and @Genshin_Intel has kindly provided us with its set bonuses:

  • 2-pc bonus: ATK +18%
  • When the value of a Bond of Life is raised or lowered, the equipped character gains a 4-piece bonus that increases their DMG by 18% for 6 seconds. This effect can be stacked up to three times.

Despite the ATK bonus on the 2-piece set being fairly decent, it is not particularly unique as there are multiple other artifacts in the game that offer a similar bonus. However, the 4-piece set has a significantly powerful stacking damage bonus of up to 54%, greatly benefiting the equipped character.

Regrettably, the artifact’s 4-pc effect is only effective for characters who possess a Bond of Life in their kit or have the ability to wield a weapon with a similar mechanic.

Top Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy Characters

According to the leaked information from the Genshin Impact beta, it appears that Arlecchino is the sole character capable of fully utilizing the Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy artifact. It is highly probable that this set will be specifically designed for her, as her entire skill set revolves around the Bond of Life mechanic. This will enable her to effortlessly accumulate the maximum number of stacks on the artifact’s 4-piece bonus, granting her significant damage boosts.

In the game, only a few characters have the Bond of Life mechanics in their kit, making it difficult for anyone to effectively use the 4-pc set unless they have a weapon like Finale of the Deep and Flowing Purity. These characters include Wriothesley, Yae Miko, Klee, Ayato, and Ayaka. However, it is not advisable to equip them with the Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy as there are better options available.
