Yumemizuki Mizuki, co-owner of the Aisa Bathhouse, is an engaging new character in Genshin Impact. Her entry into the game follows the introduction of various Natlan characters, making her debut especially significant. Although she appears in a limited-time banner akin to Dehya and Tighnari, players can expect her inclusion in a permanent banner after the promotional period ends, allowing for greater accessibility over time. This availability will likely prompt players to explore Mizuki’s capabilities in diverse team compositions and new synergies, particularly in unique game modes such as Imaginarium Theater, which challenges players to build multi-element teams.

Mizuki shines as a primary on-field Swirl initiator, flourishing with Elemental Mastery scaling. While she can contribute some healing under certain conditions, her healing capability is less reliable unless players activate her fourth constellation, as it only occurs when her teammates are at low health. Thus, she may not serve as a standalone healer in varied team setups. However, when equipped with the Viridescent Venerer artifact set, Mizuki significantly enhances the performance of characters utilizing Electro, Hydro, Cryo, or Pyro elements, enhancing elemental reactions effectively.

To maximize her potential, Mizuki should be paired with characters that possess robust off-field abilities. Many suggested characters can mix and match between teams (especially Hydro and Electro units), showcased below are some ideal team compositions featuring a variety of characters without repetitive selections.

Team Composition: Mizuki + Furina + Ororon + Sigewinne

This combination excels in Swirl-focused setups, particularly in Tazer compositions where Mizuki can apply Swirl across multiple elements. This facilitates effective Hydro and Electro interaction. Ororon’s high damage potential at advanced constellations makes him a prime candidate for this team, specifically for Electro-Charged strategies, while Furina functions beautifully as an outstanding Hydro off-field DPS, enhancing overall team damage output.

Despite Furina’s HP drain mechanics, players can leverage Mizuki’s healing snacks strategically. Effective management can allow Mizuki’s snacks to focus on amplifying Swirl damage instead of purely acting as a healing resource. Sigewinne’s inclusion in the team balances this dynamic; she not only consistently heals but also applies Hydro and enhances damage through Elemental Skill DMG bonuses, benefiting other members like Furina and Ororon. A dedicated healer maximizes Mizuki’s output, allowing her to be solely offensive.

For those lacking Sigewinne, alternatives like Kokomi or Kuki Shinobu are viable options. These characters maintain similar healing support while continuing to apply Hydro or Electro elements effectively. Ultimately, any off-field unit with solid elemental application can fit into this adaptable team slot.

Team Roles

  • Mizuki: Support, Swirl enabler
  • Furina: Sub-DPS, Buffer, Hydro enabler
  • Ororon: Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
  • Sigewinne: Healer, Buffer, Hydro enabler

Team Composition: Mizuki + Yae Miko + Fischl + Nahida

Swirl plays a crucial role in Aggravate teams since Dendro cannot be swirled, enabling Electro to fully benefit from the Viridescent Venerer debuff. For players opting against a Burning team with Mizuki and Emilie, pairing her with Nahida as an effective off-field Dendro sub-DPS is advised. Nahida provides consistent Dendro application and utilizes Elemental Mastery scaling for optimal damage.

The composition benefits greatly from adding two Electro sub-DPS units such as Yae Miko and Fischl, ensuring reliable Electro uptime through their combined attacks and damage capabilities. However, this setup may lack a dedicated healer, especially if Mizuki is not at constellation four, requiring careful gameplay to avoid sustaining too much damage. Fortunately, unlike Bloom reactions, Aggravate avoids damaging surrounding characters. Kuki Shinobu can be introduced for healing, but Mizuki should stay close to enemies to ensure effective healing from her Electro application.

Team Roles

  • Mizuki: Support, Swirl enabler
  • Nahida: Sub-DPS, Support, Dendro enabler
  • Yae Miko: Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
  • Fischl: Sub-DPS, Electro enabler

Team Composition: Mizuki + Mavuika + Citlali + Bennett

Mavuika and Citlali have rapidly established themselves as a powerful combination for Melt reactions, achieving remarkable damage output with relatively low investment. When teamed with Bennett, Mavuika maximizes her damage potential, making this trio highly relevant in the current meta’s challenging content.

This solid core offers flexibility in the fourth team member slot, which can be filled with buffers like Xilonen or Furina for boosted damage, or Anemo characters that can effectively apply Viridescent Venerer to debuff enemies. While Mizuki may not be the top choice for this team, her support role still contributes significantly to enhance group synergy. Although Mavuika excels when on the field, her off-field capabilities grant the team rotational ease, allowing her Elemental Burst to be utilized effectively without being dependent on on-field attacks.

Team Roles

  • Mizuki: Support, Swirl enabler
  • Mavuika: Pyro enabler, Burst DPS, Sub-DPS
  • Citlali: Support, Shield provider, Cryo enabler
  • Bennett: Support, Buffer, Healer

Team Composition: Mizuki + Xingqiu + Lisa + Xiangling

For players seeking a free-to-play-friendly team composition without reliance on high-tier characters, Mizuki can team up with a formidable lineup of 4-star options. This setup emphasizes elemental application and swirling mechanics, positioning Mizuki as a “rainbow Swirl”driver, though lacking the ability to convert attacks into a specific element.

Xingqiu provides excellent Hydro application through coordinated attacks, while Lisa (alternatively Ororon or Fischl) fulfills the role of off-field Electro DPS. Xiangling rounds out the team by covering the Pyro role.

A notable advantage of this team is that, aside from Mizuki, all the characters have alternate skins available from previous events, presenting an opportunity to display multiple event-exclusive outfits within the same composition.

Team Roles

  • Mizuki: Support, Swirl enabler
  • Xingqiu: Sub-DPS, Support, Hydro enabler
  • Lisa: Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
  • Xiangling: Sub-DPS, Buffer, Pyro enabler
