Genshin Impact 5.2 Leaks Reveal Two New Saurian Characters and Their Abilities

Recent Genshin Impact 5.2 leaks suggest that players will soon see the introduction of two additional Saurians in the game with the arrival of the new version. These mystical creatures, known as Saurians, represent the dragon species indigenous to Natlan, cohabiting with local inhabitants and assisting them in their daily lives. Players can also transform briefly into these Saurians to harness their unique abilities for traversing the environment. Currently, the game features only three Saurians, each belonging to the three tribes that were introduced with version 5.0.
This article explores the recent rumors about the inclusion of two new Saurians in the upcoming Genshin Impact 5.2 update.

Insights shared by HomDGCat and reshared by u/ukrisreng on Reddit indicate that Genshin Impact 5.2 will introduce two new Saurians, namely the Qucusaurs and the Iktomisaurs.
According to prior leaks regarding Natlan’s six tribes, Qucusaurs embody the Flower-Feather Clan, while Iktomisaurs represent the Masters of the Night Wind tribe.
Interestingly, the two new characters launching in Genshin Impact 5.2, Chasca and Ororon, are also from these tribes. Chasca is affiliated with the Flower-Feather Clan, while Ororon belongs to the Masters of the Night Wind tribe, providing further validation to the leaks about the new Saurians.
Qucusaurs (Saurians of the Flower-Feather Clan)
Sources suggest that Qucusaurs possess a remarkable ability that allows them to glide through the air for long distances. While gliding, players can utilize Phlogiston from their active Phlogiston bar to gain extra height or perform a horizontal roll. By holding down the sprint button, players can enter an accelerated gliding mode following a horizontal roll.
Like all Saurian traversal abilities, engaging in these actions will consume Phlogiston from the bar located at the screen’s bottom.
Qucusaurs first made their appearance in Genshin Impact 5.0 as part of the Weighty Wings world quest in Natlan. Additionally, the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant Boss represents a more evolved version of the standard Qucusaur.
Iktomisaurs (Saurians of the Masters of the Night Wind Tribe)
As per the leaks, Iktomisaurs come with a unique capability to discover hidden murals and artifacts. When players transform into an Iktomisaurus, they can hold the normal attack button to aim, activating what is known as the Spiritseeker state.
In this state, Iktomisaurs can absorb Phlogiston from nearby items. Furthermore, they can uncover special graffiti or concealed objects inscribed with Phlogiston engravings, rendering them visible for a limited time.
Moreover, Iktomisaurs possess the ability to leap high into the air and can use additional Phlogiston to execute even greater jumps.
