Nvidia GeForce NOW Offers Black Friday Discounts

Nvidia’s GeForce NOW platform has established itself as a leading option for cloud gaming, providing access to a massive library of over 2,000 PC games via popular launchers and subscription services, including Game Pass. In light of the upcoming Black Friday sales, Nvidia is rolling out a special promotion that slashes the prices of its two premium subscription tiers.

Limited-Time Discounts on Performance and Ultimate Tiers

This week only, gamers can enjoy a 50% discount on three-month subscription packages for both Performance and Ultimate tiers. This offer applies to both new subscribers and existing members who wish to upgrade from the Free tier, or from Performance to Ultimate. However, it’s important to note that there are no discounts on one-month and six-month subscriptions at this time.

Tier Benefits Explained

If you’re not familiar with the benefits of each tier, here’s what you can expect:

• Performance Tier: Offers streaming at resolutions of up to 1440p, reduced queue times, six-hour gaming sessions, support for ray tracing, and gameplay at up to 60 FPS.
• Ultimate Tier: Delivers a superior streaming experience with resolutions up to 4K, even shorter queue times, eight-hour sessions, and gameplay at up to 240 FPS, mimicking the performance of the RTX 4080, along with the added benefit of DLSS frame generation.

A Treat for Gamers

Nvidia encourages gamers to take advantage of this limited-time offer. “It’s the perfect time for gamers to treat themselves or a buddy to GeForce RTX-powered gaming without having to upgrade any hardware,”the company stated. They highlight that this deal allows players to tackle winter challenges or explore festive landscapes with remarkable performance at an outstanding price.

Additionally, Nvidia has announced that subscribers will gain access to six new games this week:

• New Arc Line (Available Nov. 26 on Steam)
• MEGA MAN X DiVE Offline Demo (Steam)
• PANICORE (Steam)
• Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour Demo (Steam)
• Slime Rancher (Steam)
• Sumerian Six (Steam)

Future Changes to Subscription Limits

As a note for current and prospective subscribers, Nvidia plans to implement playtime restrictions across all GeForce NOW memberships beginning in 2025. Members will need to pay extra if they exceed their monthly playtime limits.
