Guide to Locating Rock Crystals for Hexga in Clair Obscur

Upon diving into the enchanting world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players will encounter the formidable Hexga creatures at Stone Wave Cliffs. These imposing beings, composed of rocks and crystals, may seem daunting, yet they can be surprisingly manageable. In particular, a solitary Hexga located outside the Tide Caverns is in desperate need of assistance from the Expedition team.
This Hexga, distinct in its appearance as a white stone figure, appears weakened and devoid of the essential Rock Crystals common among its kin. Trapped and unable to move, it relies on the intrepid members of Expedition 33 to restore its strength. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to locate Rock Crystals for the Hexga in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

The required task involves recovering three Rock Crystals situated within the adjacent cavern. Begin your journey by exploring the cavern’s entrance and activating the Expedition Flag – Tide Caverns.
Once inside the Tide Caverns, you will notice its dark atmosphere filled with lurking enemies. Fortunately, the cavern’s compact size makes the quest for the Rock Crystals relatively straightforward.
The first two Rock Crystals can be spotted as bright white formations located close to the walls or structures in the central area of the cavern. Be mindful that a functioning Hexga resides here, and confronting it may be necessary before you can proceed.

Notably, after obtaining the first crystal, it will be logged in your inventory as a ‘quest item.’ Subsequent crystals will not appear separately, yet it is critical to ensure you have gathered all three before returning to the Hexga, regardless of your inventory’s appearance.

Be cautious as a Rocher will suddenly leap from the ground as you approach this crystal, wielding a formidable white beam attack.
Defeat the Rocher to claim your third Rock Crystal and complete the collection.

Show your findings, and once the crystals are inserted into its back, the Hexga will regain its strength and rise, revealing the coveted Auto Shell Pictos as a reward.
As is customary with the friendly Nevron characters throughout your journey in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, engaging with the Hexga after completing the quest offers an additional challenge. Should you feel prepared, you have the option to duel with him. A triumphant victory will yield further rewards.
