To start, you need to acquire ducks. Ducks cannot be obtained individually since they prefer to live in groups. First, visit Robin at the carpentry shop to construct a Big Coop for your ducks. You will need to provide the following materials:

  • 4,000G
  • 300 Wood
  • 100 Stone

If you want to upgrade your Coop, gather these items:

  • 10,000G
  • 400 Wood
  • 150 Stone

Once your Coop is ready, you can purchase ducks from Marnie for 1,200G. Ducks will lay eggs every day, and if you maintain a good relationship with them, you will also receive duck feathers. To strengthen your friendship with your ducks, perform the following tasks daily:

  • Feed your duck every day
  • Allow them to roam outside for a while each day
  • Install a heater inside their Coop during Winter
  • Keep them inside during nighttime
  • Pet them daily

The primary function of duck feathers is their capacity to be sold for profits, ranging from 250G to 500G. Furthermore, they can be instrumental in enhancing friendships with characters like Elliott, Harvey, and Leo. Each of these characters considers duck feathers among their favorite gift items, making them a convenient choice to boost your relationship with them.

Duck feathers are also beneficial in completing various quests at the Community Center. Keeping them handy in your inventory can help you accomplish these tasks.
