FragPunk: Comprehensive Guide to All Currencies and Their Uses

In the realm of live service games, the use of multiple currencies has become a common theme. Titles such as Valorant feature currencies like Valorant Points, Radianite Points, and Kingdom Credits, while Marvel Rivals incorporates Chrono Tokens, Units, and Latice. For free-to-play games, the incorporation of various currencies is often essential, especially premium ones, as they help developers maintain and operate the game.
What sets FragPunk apart from its counterparts is its extensive currency system, comprising 11 different currencies, excluding those tied to specific events. This abundance can be overwhelming for players trying to navigate how to earn and utilize each type of currency. Below, we provide a detailed overview of earning and utilizing FragPunk’s diverse currencies.
Understanding the Currencies in FragPunk
The currencies in FragPunk are categorized into five distinct types:
- Main Currencies: These include Gold, Glunite Coins, and FragPunk Coins, primarily obtained through gameplay, conversions, or purchases.
- Gacha Currencies: The game features two types of Gacha currencies, received from opening special cans that yield various rewards and currencies for use in shops.
- Shop-Exclusive Currencies: Found within the Store’s Redeem tab, these can be spent on rewards tied to exclusive prize pools, memberships, battle passes, ranked matches, and clubs.
- Skin Keys: This currency is utilized for upgrading the skins of Lancers or Weapons depending on your inventory.
- Event-Exclusive Currencies: These currencies vary with each in-game event, adding a dynamic element to gameplay.
Now that you have a framework for understanding these currencies, let’s delve into the specifics of how each one functions:
Gold
Gold is the cornerstone currency in FragPunk, critical for players, especially those opting for the free-to-play model. The primary method of earning Gold is by participating in matches and achieving kills and assists.
Gold serves multiple purposes: It is necessary for unlocking Lancers and purchasing FragPunk Relics, as well as acquiring Curiosity Pop Cans and Sword of Justice Sticker Packs. Additionally, Gold is required to fuse stickers.
Glunite Coins
Glunite Coins are the second most vital currency, especially for those focusing on cosmetic enhancements. Like Gold, these can be earned through gameplay, but there is a notable difference in the amounts earned per match. Typically, players earn between 150-200 Gold per match, while Glunite Coins yield approximately 8-20.
Other than gameplay, Glunite Coins can also be acquired by purchasing FragPunk Coins and converting them. Additionally, players can exchange Club Supplies—38 Club Supplies for 100 Glunite Coins, limited to 20 exchanges per month.
This currency can be spent on acquiring common weapon and lancer skins, original pop cans, gestures, sprays, and spotlights.
FragPunk Coins
FragPunk Coins represent the game’s premium currency. Players must purchase these currencies with real money, with prices starting at $0.99 for 95 FragPunk Coins, escalating to $99.99 for 10, 800 coins, which includes bonus coins with higher value purchases.
This premium currency offers the ability to quickly unlock Lancers, buy the Battle Pass, and acquire other exclusive cosmetic items not purchasable with the standard currencies. For instance, purchasing a rename card for 50 FragPunk Coins allows players to change their username.
Original Pop Can
Original Pop Can is one of the two primary Gacha currencies in FragPunk, akin to Acquaint Fate in Genshin Impact, where the banner can be compared to Wanderlust Invocation.
Each Original Pop Can can be purchased for 300 Glunite Coins from the Items tab in the Store. They can be spent via the Curiosity Prize Pool window on the home screen. Rewards for spending include Lancer Skin keys, Weapon Skin keys, weapon charms, weapon skins, Glunite coins, firecrackers, and stickers.
Curiosity Pop Can
This currency is designated as FragPunk’s premium Gacha currency. Comparatively, it aligns with Intertwined Fates in Genshin Impact, where the banner is represented by Constellation that resets with each patch update.
Curiosity Pop Cans are obtainable from the Item Store. Free-to-play players have the option to exchange 10, 000 Gold monthly for one can. Afterward, they must rely on luck to acquire it from the Original Prize Pool.
The cans can be utilized in the Constellation banner. Possible rewards include Ultimate Materials, Striker Constellation Knife, Glunite coins, weapon charms, weapon skins, Lancer skins, sprays, and various emotes.
Ultimate Material
Ultimate Material functions as a repeat reward currency available when spending Curiosity Pop Coins in ongoing gacha banners in FragPunk. Players have a chance to earn up to 100 Ultimate Materials as a reward or to receive one every time they obtain a duplicate item.
To utilize Ultimate Material, navigate to the Redeem tab in the Store. In the Exclusive Prize Pool Section, numerous rewards are available, including Striker-Constellation, decoration packs, weapon charms, and skins that can be purchased with these materials.
Membership Pick
True to its name, the Membership Pick currency is exclusively for players with a monthly or annual membership. These picks can be exchanged for exclusive weapon skins, Curiosity Pop Cans, weapon skin keys, and Lancer skin keys.
Battle Pass Tokens
Battle Pass Tokens serve as a reward for players who successfully complete their Battle Pass. Players earn 100 Battle Pass Tokens each time they accumulate 10, 000 XP in-game.
These tokens can be utilized to purchase Lancer and Weapon Skin Keys, decoration packs, sticker packs, Original Pop Cans, and Gold. Spending on Skin Keys and Original Pop Cans is particularly recommended to maximize token utility.
Ranked Coins
These coins can be accumulated through play in ranked matches, which unlock upon reaching account level 30. Players can trade these earnings in the Redeem Store’s Ranked section for golden or silver weapon skins, with primary skins priced at 1, 000 Ranked Coins and secondary skins at 300 Coins (with some exceptions).
Club Supplies
Club Supplies function similar to Membership Picks, but do not require a subscription—only membership in a club.Completing daily and weekly challenges associated with the club will earn you Club Supplies.
These supplies can later be exchanged for sticker and decoration packs, Curiosity Pop Cans, Lancer and Weapon skins, and Glunite Coins.
Lancer and Weapon Skin Keys
Players familiar with Valorant will recognize these keys, as they function similarly to Radianite Points. In FragPunk, skins come in various rarities, and if you wish to upgrade or gain customization options for Superb or Extreme rarity skins, these keys are essential.
The keys can be redeemed using Club Supplies, Battle Pass Tokens, Membership Picks, Original Pop Cans, or Curiosity Pop Cans.
Event-Exclusive Currencies

Players can subsequently spend the collected Shards at the Porcelain Exchange section found within the Hot Events tab.
Lancer Statues
Lastly, we have Lancer Statues, which have no guaranteed earning method. However, players may receive them as rewards during events.
