First Bleach Rebirth of Souls DLC Features Ichigo Kurosaki Again

Bandai Namco has officially revealed the inaugural DLC character for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, and it features none other than Ichigo Kurosaki from the Thousand Year Blood War Arc. Players who purchase the $24.99 Season Pass will gain early access starting on June 10, 2025, while the general audience can unlock him a week later on June 17, 2025.

The recently released video showcases several gameplay snippets, though it refrains from naming any of Ichigo’s unique attacks. The trailer starts with an assortment of images spotlighting current playable characters in the game. Subsequently, we see Ichigo in action from the Thousand Year Blood War Arc, complete with a striking art image before he steps onto the battlefield. Viewers witness two unique attacks as he takes on a form emblematic of this arc.

With the addition of this DLC, gamers can anticipate four distinct versions of Ichigo Kurosaki within Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. Currently, players have access to the standard version of Ichigo, as well as the Ichigo Kurosaki (Bankai) and Ichigo Kurosaki (Final Getsugatensho). Each version highlights crucial points in Ichigo’s evolution throughout the series.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is available on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The complete launch of Ichigo Kurosaki from the Thousand Year Blood War arc is set for June 17, 2025. Fans can catch up on the series, including the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. The manga series is distributed outside Japan by Viz Media.
