Pre-Orders Open for New FFVII Bring Arts Cloud Strife Figure Featuring Hardedge Sword

Square Enix has officially launched pre-orders for the highly anticipated FFVII Bring Arts Cloud Strife figure, which comes with his iconic Hardedge sword. This figure is a variation from the earlier release that included Cloud’s classic Buster Sword. Priced at $119.99, it’s expected to hit the shelves in November 2025.

What’s New with Cloud’s Latest Figure?

The new Cloud Strife figure is largely similar to its predecessor, with the primary update being the inclusion of the Hardedge sword. Alongside this weapon, collectors will receive three pairs of interchangeable hands. However, it’s worth noting that there is no additional face plate included, meaning Cloud has only one expression featured.

A Brief Nod to the Original Figure

It’s important to highlight that the original Cloud figure was sold with an NFT certificate. However, when it was re-released in 2024, this feature was not included. A similar situation occurred with the Tifa variant, which initially came with NFTs but also forwent them in subsequent releases.

Fun Fact About the Hardedge Sword

For fans of the game, there’s an interesting fact about the Hardedge sword: it’s obtained by stealing from a SOLDIER enemy, making it the first sword Cloud can acquire through this method in the game.

Looking Ahead

The updated FFVII Bring Arts figure with Hardedge is set for release in November 2025, reflecting the ongoing popularity of the Final Fantasy VII franchise. Players can currently experience Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4, PS5, and PC, and FFVII Rebirth is available on PS5 and PC as well, with the third part of the saga in development.
