Sam has been a staple figure in the garden since the game’s early days. However, it was only in the latest update that players can truly befriend him. Gaining Sam’s affection is no mystery; the way to his heart is through delicious food. By offering him meals, you can elevate your friendship level, ultimately earning extra and rare seeds as your reward.
How to Feed Sam in Grow a Garden
Feeding Sam is a straightforward task. Firstly, ensure you have a cooked meal equipped in your hand within your inventory. Once you have a meal ready, approach Sam at the Seed Stall and initiate a conversation. You will notice an additional dialogue option labeled “Feed“alongside his usual seed inquiries.
Keep in mind that you can only feed Sam once every 24 hours due to a cooldown period that currently cannot be bypassed. While Sam won’t directly ask for specific meals, offering higher-rarity recipes can yield more significant friendship bonuses. Below is a breakdown of the relationship between recipe rarity and friendship points:

This milestone unlocks a new tab in the Seed Shop catalog, offering exclusive seeds not typically available in the regular shop rotation.
