If you’ve been exploring Elden Ring Nightreign and wondering just how effective your builds for the Nightfarers really are, you’re not alone. Many players have been on the hunt for powerful Relics but have faced challenges due to the unpredictable nature of RNG. Thankfully, the latest update brings exciting new Relics that you’ll want to add to your arsenal.

Complementing these Relics, the latest version of Nightreign introduces an array of new Urns available at the Collector Signboard, allowing you to enhance your favorite Nightfarer. Personally, I’ve focused on refining my build for Ironeye, and these new Urns and Relics have significantly improved my gameplay experience. Let’s delve into the best new Relics and Urns introduced in version 1.03.1 of Elden Ring Nightreign.

How to Acquire the Latest Relics and Urns in Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.03.1

To obtain the new Relics and Urns in Elden Ring Nightreign, players must defeat an Everdark Sovereign, an advanced version of the standard Nightlords. The Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaw is the first to be introduced in this patch.

Upon defeating this formidable opponent, you’ll earn Sovereign Sigils, a new currency that grants access to the Collector Signboard. This merchant can be located just outside Roundtable Hold—approach from the right side after exiting towards the shore.

The new merchant offers a range of items including Urns, Relics, character skins, and the ability to modify the current Shifting Earth parameter on the map. For the purpose of this discussion, we’ll concentrate on the new Urns and Relics that enable enhanced gameplay.

By selecting the ‘View Catalog’ option at the Collector Signboard, you will uncover the merchant’s inventory, which boasts 14 new Relics following patch 1.03.1. Many of these Relics cater specifically to character builds, but which ones stand out the most?

Grand Burning Scene Relics

Among the offerings at the merchant’s stall are four distinct Grand Burning Scene Relics, each with valuable effects. Let’s spotlight the first one tailored to those who choose to main Ironeye.

  • [Ironeye] Art Charge Activation Adds Poison Effect
  • Attack power boost against poisoned enemies
  • Ultimate Art Gauge +3

Thanks to Ironeye’s prowess in status effect application, particularly with bows, the increased attack power is incredibly beneficial. The Ultimate Art Gauge enhancement allows you to recharge your ultimate abilities more frequently, facilitating damage output and status effect application.

Grand Tranquil Scene Relic

This green Relic is versatile, being suitable for various characters but particularly advantageous for the Recluse or Duchess, who have strong magical capabilities. Its effects include:

  • Max FP increase with three or more staves equipped
  • Permanently increased Max FP after activating the Sorcerer’s Rise Mechanism
  • Magic attack power boost

Duchess benefits enormously from the magic attack power increase, while Recluse can utilize the FP boost effectively since her gameplay revolves around spellcasting. The Duchess, too, can capitalize on these benefits given her use of weapon arts.

Grand Luminous Scene Relic

Tailored specifically for Raider, this Relic is one of his most advantageous tools currently available in the game. Its effects include:

  • Extended duration of Ultimate Art
  • Enhanced attack power with colossal weapons
  • Increased Endurance +3

This Relic addresses Raider’s endurance issues, enabling more actions in battle. The attack power boost complements Raider’s preference for colossal weapons, enhancing his performance significantly.

Additionally, the Totem Stela provides an impressive damage boost with each use of Raider’s Ultimate Art.

Another Grand Burning Scene Relic

This second Grand Burning Scene Relic, while not character-specific, excels when used by Wylder, Raider, or Guardian due to its HP restoration and damage negation properties. The effects provided are:

  • Gradual HP recovery for self and nearby allies when HP is low
  • Improved damage negation at low health
  • Vigor +3

These effects can enhance any character, but they are especially suited for front-line fighters like Raider and Guardian, who tend to take on heavy damage during encounters.

Final Grand Burning Scene Relic

The last Grand Burning Scene Relic I recommend helps with stamina regeneration and stance-breaking, making it an exceptional choice for damage-dealers like Wylder, Raider, and Executor. It offers:

  • Enhanced stance-breaking abilities when wielding two armaments
  • Stamina recovery with each successful attack
  • Added Endurance +3

This boosts your ability to perform more attacks and dodges, ensuring you can keep pace in battle. The stamina recovery feature is particularly advantageous for characters like Executor and Wylder, who rely on fast and frequent strikes.

Top New Urns in Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.03.1

The latest patch introduced two types of Urns: Sealed and Soot-Covered. Sealed Urns differ only in color from each character’s original Urn, adding limited new effects and primarily serving to rearrange existing Relics without fundamentally changing build dynamics.

Soot-Covered Guardian’s Urn

This particular Urn switches the available Relics for Guardians to a red-green-green color scheme. Based on my experiences, many beneficial Relics for Guardian are aligned with these colors.

Utilizing this Urn has allowed me to enhance Guardian’s Whirlwind ability while equipping Relics that increase stamina, attack power, grant holy damage, and bolster strength.

Soot-Covered Ironeye’s Urn

For Ironeye, the introduction of the Soot-Covered Urn, alongside the Edge of Order yellow Relic, has been a game changer for my build.

This Urn provides flexibility by allowing me to equip a blue Relic that boosts dexterity and unlocks other valuable yellow Relics, enhancing health and physical attack power.

Soot-Covered Duchess’s Urn

The new Urn for Duchess is configured as red-red-green. Although this may initially seem like an unoptimal choice, it actually opens up access to significant Relics that enhance her combat effectiveness.

My customized build for Duchess features enhancements to her attack power, additional holy damage, increased dexterity, a Stonesword Key, and much more contributed by the two red Relics. Meanwhile, the green Relic not only activates her Reprise ability from dagger attacks but also reduces her Character Skill cooldown.
