The recent Friendship update, known as Bizzier Bees, introduced the Anti Bee egg and a variety of pets that generate mutations. However, the latest Working Bees update shifts focus by not adding new eggs but instead enhancing gameplay through crafting.
With the crafting system now integrated into Grow a Garden, players can create the Pack Bee, a pet that effectively increases your backpack size. Unlike previous methods that allowed players to spend Sheckles or Robux for inventory expansion, this update encourages players to engage with pets for enhanced game mechanics.
If you’re eager to expand your backpack, here are the essential items required to craft a Pack Bee:
- Anti Bee Egg: Obtainable through crafting or available for purchase with Robux in the Shop.
- Sunflower: Can be found in the Flower Seed Pack during the Bee event.
- Purple Dahlia: Also sourced from the Flower Seed Pack, similar to the Sunflower.
- 250 Honey: Crafted by processing Pollinated fruit in the Honey Combpresser.
Steps to Obtain the Pack Bee in Grow a Garden
Once you’ve gathered all the necessary items to craft the Pack Bee, follow these straightforward steps:
- Navigate to the Bizzy Bear crafting recipe station located in the center of the play area.
- Press the ‘E’ key to interact with the crafting station.
- Scroll to the bottom to locate the Pack Bee crafting recipe.
- Select the recipe and click the Craft button to proceed.
- Present the required items one at a time at the crafting station.
- Don’t forget to use 250 Honey to initiate the crafting process, which takes four hours to complete.
- Once the timer reaches zero, press the ‘E’ key again to collect your Pack Bee.
While the requirements might seem challenging, crafting the Pack Bee is fairly straightforward. For those who may lack patience, you can expedite the crafting time for a fee of 39 Robux.
If you change your mind about crafting, the process can be canceled at any time by pressing the ‘C’ key.
Understanding the Pack Bee’s Passive and Abilities
The Pack Bee has an intriguing passive ability: after hatching and reaching one year of age, it provides a backpack size increase of approximately 26 slots. As the Pack Bee matures within your plot, your storage capacity will continue to grow.

Players shouldn’t have to sacrifice premium pets like Raccoons or Disco Bees just to gain additional storage. It’s best to deploy only a single Pack Bee while retaining other high-value pets for maximum productivity.
