Exciting Updates on Digimon Story: Time Stranger

New insights about the eagerly awaited Digimon Story: Time Stranger were unveiled during the recent Digimon Con 2025. World and Characters Overview

Producer Ryosuke Hara elaborated on the game design, revealing that the Human World aspects will primarily center around iconic locations such as Shinjuku and Akihabara in Tokyo. Unlike previous titles in the Cyber Sleuth series, players will enjoy more frequent excursions into the Digital World. The game introduces two new protagonists—Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki—who are elite operatives from an organization focused on investigating strange anomalies. Players will have the option to select either character for their journey, while the other provides assistance from the organization’s headquarters.

Starting Choices and Digimon Variety

In a noteworthy addition, players will get to choose between Patamon, Gomamon, or DemiDevimon as their initial partner Digimon. Overall, Digimon Story: Time Stranger will boast over 450 Digimon that players can collect throughout their adventure. This extensive roster is designed to enhance gameplay, providing diverse strategies and experiences.
