Capcom has announced an eagerly awaited update for Street Fighter 6 scheduled for release on February 5. Since its launch in June 2023, Street Fighter 6 has continually evolved with regular updates that introduce gameplay tweaks, balance adjustments, and new character options for players.

Among the noteworthy additions since the game’s release was the return of Akuma in May 2023, offering a revitalized and more formidable version of this classic antagonist. Following this, the legendary Terry Bogard, a staple character from the SNK universe, joined the roster as the second DLC character of Year 2 in September 2023.
