Inside the Making of DC: Dark Legion

J. P.Karliak as the Joker

The opening of the BTS video features J. P.Karliak, an American actor renowned for his role as the Joker in various projects, including the upcoming title. Although he previously voiced the Joker in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, his interpretation in DC: Dark Legion promises to showcase a fresh take on the iconic character. Karliak’s recent work also includes roles in popular titles such as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, along with a part in Star Trek: Resurgence.

Mark Whitten and Jan Johns Bring Flash and Harley Quinn to Life

Following J. P.Karliak, the video transitions to Mark Whitten’s portrayal of the Flash, who is noted for delivering quick-witted lines that reflect the character’s lightning-fast persona. Whitten rounds out his voice acting career in 2025 with this role, following performances in Dynasty Warriors: Origins and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Additionally, viewers catch a glimpse of Jan Johns, who voices the fan-favorite Harley Quinn. Previously, Johns showcased her talent as Commander Jillian Toft in Starfield and appeared in various roles across Bethesda’s Fallout series.

Roger Craig Smith’s Dual Roles as Batman

The video wraps up with an intriguing segment featuring Roger Craig Smith, first known for his role as Batman, before seamlessly transitioning into his portrayal of the Batman Who Laughs. This unique character, conceptualized by Scott Snyder, embodies a disturbing blend of Bruce Wayne’s prowess with the Joker’s chaos. While this will be Smith’s first time voicing the Batman Who Laughs, he has previously taken on the role of Bruce Wayne in the upcoming VR game Batman: Arkham Shadow.
