IEM Rio 2024 Schedule
The IEM Rio 2024 will commence with a Group Stage where the participating 16 teams are split into two groups of eight each. The matches for the first day have been announced as follows:

IEM Rio (Image via ESL)The CS2 IEM Rio 2024 will unfold in two distinct stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The Group Stage will initiate with opening matches that follow a BO1 format. These matches are outlined in the schedule section.
Following the opening matches, all subsequent games will employ a BO3 format. The top three teams from each group will progress to the Playoffs, where the Group Stage winners move directly to the Semi-Finals, the runner-ups enter the Quarter-Finals as high seeds, and the third-place teams qualify as low seeds.
Ultimately, the Playoffs will utilize a Single-Elimination Bracket with all matches in a BO3 format. The overall prize pool for the CS2 IEM Rio 2024 is $250,000, distributed as follows:
- 1st place: $100,000 + qualification to IEM Katowice 2024
- 2nd place: $42,000
- 3rd-4th place: $20,000
The remaining amount will be allocated among all other participating teams based on their final standings in this prestigious tournament.
