This card is already being compared to Darkrai ex, another potent addition from the same expansion, due to their similar healing and damage-dealing mechanics. Notably, Cresselia ex restores 20 HP whenever a Psychic-type Energy is attached, while Darkrai ex inflicts 20 damage on the opponent’s Active Pokémon for each Darkness-type Energy it receives.

Cresselia ex Drop Event Details

This two-week solo battle event allows players to compete against AI across four difficulty levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Successful battles present players with opportunities to earn Promo-A Vol.4 booster packs, each containing five new cards.

With increasing difficulty comes a greater likelihood of earning booster packs. Beginner matches provide a 51% chance to earn a Promo-A pack, while Intermediate matches boost this to 64%.Advanced matches give players an 80% chance, and Expert matches ensure a 100% drop rate upon victory.

The new Promo-A Misdreavus swaps its original Mumble ability for Confuse Ray, which afflicts the opponent with the Confused state without causing additional damage. Its HP and retreat cost are similar to the previously released version.
Cresselia ex Drop Event Missions and Rewards
Each challenge in the event encompasses two to five side quests, termed Battle Tasks, which offer additional rewards. Below are the requirements and rewards for each level’s missions.

The Best Deck for the Cresselia ex Drop Event
For this event, a Darkness-type deck featuring Scolipede and Weezing is an excellent choice. Given that Cresselia ex and all other decks in Solo mode are Psychic-type, employing a Darkness lineup can easily counter them. Additionally, this deck is advantageous for completing Battle Tasks since some quests require defeating opponents using Darkness Pokémon.
If you lack the Scolipede cards, consider creating a deck with Arbok and Weezing as alternatives.
