Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Available on Game Pass Starting Tomorrow

Microsoft Welcomes Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled to Game Pass
In a recent announcement, Microsoft unveiled that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will make its debut on Game Pass starting tomorrow. This addition continues the gradual integration of Activision Blizzard titles into Microsoft’s subscription service. The influx of these popular games began with Diablo IV, which was added to Game Pass on March 28. Following that, players enjoyed the early access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on July 24, while the nostalgic Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy joined the service on August 8. Notably, the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 6, became available on Game Pass from its release date on October 25, marking a significant first for the series. Additionally, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy landed on Game Pass on November 12.
Experience the Nostalgia of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a delightful nostalgia trip that captures the essence of its 20-year-old predecessor, offering engaging gameplay perfect for quick sessions, albeit lacking in depth for extended play. While the game doesn’t introduce groundbreaking features, the team at Beenox has successfully modernized it for today’s gaming landscape. However, several of the additional elements, including tracks from Crash Nitro Kart and various unlockable cosmetics, may not resonate strongly with players, making Nitro-Fueled feel less impactful compared to more recent Activision remakes. Enthusiasts of the original CTR and those seeking a challenging experience might find joy in this title, but casual gamers may discover that it loses its novelty rather swiftly.
Accessibility Limitations for PC Players
It’s worth noting that, as of this launch, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled remains exclusive to console platforms, with no PC version on the horizon. Consequently, Game Pass subscribers using PC will not see the game available in their libraries upon launch. The announcement garnered various comments from users expressing a desire for a PC port. However, given the game’s moderate success over the past five and a half years, the likelihood of a port appears slim.
