Navigating character builds in action RPGs often proves to be a daunting task. Players are faced with an array of options but can struggle to determine which skills will be most beneficial as they progress. This uncertainty amplifies as the game advances, making players acutely aware of the abilities necessary to efficiently tackle waves of enemies or formidable bosses.

This uncertainty underscores the importance of the respec feature, prevalent in many ARPGs. Respec allows players to reclaim and redistribute their upgrade points, tailoring their skills and abilities to better confront challenges. In Coridden, this feature is designed with accessibility in mind, as it does not require rare items or currencies, making it easy for players to adapt their strategies.

How to Respec in Coridden

Players can access the respec feature immediately following the first campaign mission in Coridden. Once players reach Quilon, they can meet Charvi at Dayali’s Repair Shop. Within the shop, behind Charvi, there exists a workshop where respecing takes place.

Coridden boasts multiple skill trees, granting players the option to respec in various areas. Players may choose to adjust their Attributes, investing points across five unique traits. Additionally, upgrades for both the Human and Creature classes can be modified separately.

The respec option for creatures is particularly granular, providing players with a comprehensive list of every upgraded creature for targeted adjustments. For those looking for a broader approach, there is also an option to reset all upgrades at once.

What Do You Need to Respec in Coridden?

To respec in Coridden, players only need coins, the game’s primary currency. Pricing varies depending on what aspects of the character are being reallocated, but there are no restrictions on how often a player can respec.

Players are free to respec as many times as desired throughout their journey, provided they can afford the cost. Given that ranged attacks prove to be particularly effective against bosses in the latter parts of the game, it’s advisable to consider respecing midway through to enhance the Fragmentation ability, as this significantly boosts both human and creature ranged attacks.

However, simply adjusting attributes may not suffice. Acquiring a high-level bow, ideally one that includes rune slots for damage enhancements, is crucial. Players tackling the final boss may find melee attacks insufficient, prompting the need for a visit to the workshop unless they opt for a fully ranged strategy from the start, which could be disadvantageous against early enemies that are more susceptible to melee combat.

While gathering coins for respecs might take time early in the game, players who have unlocked the Guardian activity in Quilon can utilize that opportunity to effectively farm coins against similarly leveled foes.
