Exciting Future Ahead for the Tales of Series Remasters

Fans of the beloved Tales of series can look forward to a steady stream of remastered titles in the years to come, as confirmed by series producer Yusuke Tomizawa. This announcement was made during the recent Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Project event, where Tomizawa outlined the company’s vision for revitalizing older entries in the franchise.

Plans for Consistent Remastered Releases

Tomizawa revealed that Bandai Namco has established a dedicated development line for its Remastered Project, signaling a commitment to releasing rejuvenated versions of classic entries consistently. This strategy is especially promising as many titles currently remain locked on older gaming consoles, restricting access for new fans. Notably, Tales of Graces f is set to be part of this initiative, with several other titles anticipated to follow soon after.

Upcoming Releases for Fans

The next few weeks promise to be especially rewarding for Tales of enthusiasts. In advance of the Tales of Graces f Remastered launch on both PC and consoles, a passionate team known as Life Bottle Production is set to unveil an English translation patch for Tales of Rebirth. This title, a 2D classic that debuted on the PlayStation 2, is unlikely to receive a remaster, making this fan-driven localization an exciting addition for gamers. The translation patch is scheduled to launch later today.

Latest Installment in the Franchise

The most recent mainline installment, Tales of Arise, was released in 2021 and is available on both PC and console platforms. It has been well-received by fans and critics alike, paving the way for renewed interest in the franchise.

This strategic move toward remastering older titles not only appeals to nostalgia but also introduces new generations of players to the rich legacy of the Tales of series. Stay tuned for more updates as Bandai Namco continues to enhance its offerings for fans old and new.
