Your initial encounter with these quests kicks off in Vatican City, which serves as the first expansive sandbox area for exploration. Among the various sidequests is the challenging “Father and Son Mystery Sidequest,” which can only be initiated after completing the prerequisite quest titled “A Nun in Trouble.”

To embark on the “Father and Son” quest, first complete the essential Fieldwork quest given by Gina, known as A Nun in Trouble. Upon successfully rescuing Guiliana, you will receive Guiliana’s Key. She’ll inform you that this key grants access to a door located within the Borgia Tower, which you must locate.

Using the key, head to the Borgia Tower and find the door situated about halfway up. This will lead you into the Vatican Agency Room, a place notable for its absence of inhabitants, apart from a dog and a cat. Inside, you’ll unearth various items, including an Adventure Book and a diagram that are integral to solving the safe’s puzzle found in the room.

As you continue your search, don’t miss the desk drawer housing a poem with specific letters circled, which provides crucial hints for unlocking the safe.

Unlocking the Safe in Borgia Tower

To successfully crack the code of the safe in Borgia Tower, you will need both the Polybius Diagram and the aforementioned poem. These two items help you determine how to align the letters on the diagram, revealing the necessary numbers for the safe’s combination. Altogether, you’ll be working with eight letters and four numbers, which need to be paired carefully. The letters you’ll focus on are as follows:

I, R, I, A, T, A, S, O.

Each letter corresponds to a number, and when pairing them appropriately, you’ll discover that they converge on a specific number. After matching all the letters with their respective numbers correctly, you’ll find that the safe’s code is:

5873.

Cracking this code will reward you with four additional Mystery Notes and a total of 160 Adventure Points, enhancing your overall gameplay experience.
