In the Fisch universe, the Veil of the Forsaken bestiary stands as the ultimate challenge, featuring a total of five bestiaries. Among them, the Veil of the Forsaken presents both obstacles and opportunities for adventurers. Although reaching this final zone may be daunting, finding and catching fish here can be comparatively straightforward. This guide provides not only an overview of the fish species in the Veil of the Forsaken but also practical tips to enhance your fishing experience in the latest Mariana’s Veil update.

Complete Bestiary of the Veil of the Forsaken in Fisch

Embarking on the journey to complete the Veil of the Forsaken bestiary requires a fair amount of effort, yet the process of capturing fish is quite manageable. The bestiary comprises nine species, including one legendary and one mythical fish, alongside a hidden species known as Scylla. Notably, the Scylla is not essential for achieving 100% completion of the bestiary.

Unlike the Abyssal Zenith bestiary, which is more centralized, anglers must explore various regions within the Veil of the Forsaken to locate these elusive fish. Here’s the detailed list of fish available:

Strategies for Completing the Veil of the Forsaken Bestiary

To start fishing in the Veil of the Forsaken, you must upgrade your submarine to level 3 to access the Calm zone. After navigating through this zone and defeating the Scylla boss, you will unlock the Scylla pool, allowing you to fish within the Veil of the Forsaken. While the variety of fish can be found relatively easily, they can present challenges when it comes to capture.

It’s worth noting that aside from the common Hydra Haddock, each fish in the Veil of the Forsaken comes with a negative progress speed. To effectively manage this, utilize high-resilience rods. Although the Poseidon rod is an excellent option, I personally advocate for the Tempest rod due to its superior performance in such daunting environments.

While the secret fish, Scylla, isn’t mandatory for bestiary completion, you’ll need to wait for the appropriate event to catch it. For enchantments, consider applying Quality or Resilient enhancements. Using a rod equipped with good resilience allows for adding Steady enchantments, effectively mitigating negative progress speeds. Additionally, refer to the bait details outlined in the table above for optimal fishing.

Prior to embarking on your fishing adventure, I recommend stocking up on a variety of baits, as there are no save points or innkeepers available in this area. However, you can interact with the innkeeper located in the Calm Zone before heading towards the Scylla pool to complete your bestiary journey. If you haven’t redeemed Fisch codes, make sure to do so for additional baits.
