The Echoes of Boo Bash is a Halloween-themed event accessible in Green Hill, the initial area of the game, ensuring all players can participate. Running until the end of the Halloween season, this event provides fantastic opportunities to earn exclusive Chao, Trails, and unlock the new playable character Reaper Metal Sonic.

To complete the event, players must defeat the haunting Boos, spooky apparitions that hover throughout the Green Hill map. To take down a Boo, equip a Friend and a Trail with a Damage stat since higher damage results in faster defeat of the Boos.

There are two varieties of Boos to hunt down: the regular Boo and the Boom Boo. Each regular Boo defeated adds +5 to your Boo defeated count in the progression tracker for the event. They appear frequently throughout the map and are relatively easy to find, boasting an HP total of 20 points which allows players to defeat them by simply colliding with them.

On the flip side, Boom Boos are less common but yield a substantial +100 to your Boo defeated stat in the event tracker. With an HP pool of 50, they’re tougher than regular Boos but are well worth seeking out for faster progress.

To unlock all event rewards, aim to raise your Boo defeated count to 60,000.
