Complete Guide to Reconnaissance Mission in Escape from Tarkov: Rewards and Steps
The quest known as Reconnaissance, assigned by Prapor in Escape from Tarkov, requires players to investigate the Lighthouse area, specifically targeting the water treatment plant’s buildings. Players should be aware that three structures within the plant are manned by Rogues, along with nearby residential houses. To ensure your safety, approach this mission with caution and eliminate any threats you encounter.

Your Guide to the Reconnaissance Task in Escape from Tarkov

- Scout the roof of Building 1 at the Lighthouse.
- Scout the roof of Building 2 at the Lighthouse.
- Scout the roof of Building 3 at the Lighthouse.
- Exfiltrate from the map while ensuring the “Survived” exit status.
Overview of Building 1 at the Lighthouse
Building 1 (Image via Battlestate Games)Building 1 sits prominently at the front of the area. To access the roof, players must first eliminate the Rogues stationed there. This should be manageable, as they man mounted guns. Utilizing a high-caliber weapon is advisable for a quicker takedown.
After clearing out the Rogues, ascend to the roof via the metal staircase located on the building’s eastern side. Move around on the rooftop briefly to fulfill the quest requirement.

Building 2 (Image via Battlestate Games)Similar to Building 1, you need to clear out the Rogues before proceeding in Building 2. As they operate their mounted guns, eliminate them methodically, aiming for headshots since they can be dropped with a single bullet.
Like the first building, Building 2 also has metal stairs leading to the roof. Once you reach the top, take the opportunity to loot the area, including the downed Rogues for useful items.

Once the area is secure, make your way to the roof to complete the third objective. Afterward, ensure a successful extraction from the map, opting for either the vehicle exit, Northern Road, or Path to Shoreline.

- Experience Points: 18,000
- Prapor Reputation Increase: +0.03
- Roubles: 155,000 (increased to 162,750 and 178,250 based on Intel Center levels 2 and 3, respectively)
- 1x Korund-VM body armor
- 1x KIASS Condor glasses
- Unlock the Korund-VM for barter at Prapor’s Loyalty Level 3
