In the world of Love and Deepspace, the thrilling endgame mode known as Abyssal Chaos allows players to dive into a dungeon-style experience featuring advanced versions of beloved companion characters. This unique gameplay offers an exhilarating challenge that keeps players engaged as they seek to uncover various narrative outcomes.

One key element of this mode is the Final Farewell commission, where players partner with Rafayel. Successfully navigating the combat mechanics can lead players through a captivating storyline, culminating in one of six distinct endings. The only way to experience all of these endings is by embarking on this commission with Rafayel, making the gameplay both strategic and rewarding. In this guide, we will explore every Rafayel ending in the Final Farewell of Abyssal Chaos and the steps to unlock each one.

Abyssal Chaos Final Farewell: All Endings with Rafayel

In total, there are six endings available during the Final Farewell commission with Rafayel. It’s important to note that two of these endings are minor variations of the others. Overall, players will need to complete the commission four times to unlock all outcomes, provided they make the correct decisions along the way.

Below, we detail the necessary choices for each of Rafayel’s endings in Final Farewell.

Ending 1: Devour

Answers by scene:

  • Final Farewell I: I’m getting a strong sense of déjà vu.
  • Final Farewell II: Catch Rafayel.
  • Final Farewell III: As your bodyguard…
  • Final Farewell IV: Continue the commission and come back later.
  • Final Farewell V: Force your way in.
  • What Endures: Leave for now.

The Devour ending is typically the default outcome for Final Farewell if players do not unlock any other special conclusions through their decisions. This ending is usually obtained by focusing on Rafayel rather than the commission itself. Thus, following the outlined steps will help ensure you achieve this ending rather than leaving it to chance.

Ending 2: Lost

Answers by scene:

  • Final Farewell I: What a magical feeling.
  • Final Farewell II: Chase after them with Rafayel.
  • Final Farewell III: As a hunter, I’ll eliminate Wanderers first.
  • Final Farewell IV: Consider it a break.
  • Final Farewell V: Avoid complications.
  • What Endures: Destroy the signal source.

The Lost ending is considered a “secret”outcome, accessed via a hidden combat scenario. This occurs when players prioritize their duties as Deepspace Hunters over exploring the commission. While the ending may feel somewhat disheartening with its lack of flavor text, completing the hidden combat event rewards players with an achievement.

Endings 3 & 4: Worth Living / Distant Longings

Answers by scene:

  • Final Farewell I: What a magical feeling.
  • Final Farewell II: Chase after them with Rafayel.
  • Final Farewell III: Prioritize the commission.
  • Final Farewell IV: Consider it a break.
  • Final Farewell V: Avoid complications.
  • What Endures: There’s more to this.
  • Hidden Choice: Have you ever asked them?

By adhering closely to these decisions, players will unlock two endings simultaneously: Worth Living and Distant Longings. The latter is simply a variation featuring an additional scene based on obtaining a special mission item. The end card for Distant Longings will appear, while your endings tracker will confirm that both conclusions have been achieved.

If you wish to view the Worth Living ending separately, simply select the opposite response during Final Farewell I (“I’m getting a strong sense of déjà vu”) to avoid acquiring the special item, then follow the steps outlined for Distant Longings.

Endings 5 & 6: Neverland / Faith

Answers by scene:

  • Final Farewell I: What a magical feeling.
  • Final Farewell II: Chase after them with Rafayel.
  • Final Farewell III: Prioritize the commission.
  • Final Farewell IV: Consider it a break.
  • Final Farewell V: Avoid complications.
  • What Endures: There’s more to this.
  • Hidden Choice: We could back up the data.

By completing these actions accurately, players will simultaneously unlock the Neverland and Faith endings. Again, Faith offers a variation with an extra scene made accessible through a special item. Your endings tracker will reflect both activities as complete, and the end card for Faith will be displayed.

To unlock Neverland individually at any point, simply choose the opposite response in Final Farewell I (“I’m getting a strong sense of déjà vu”) to refrain from picking up the special item, while still following the guidelines for Faith.
