Kalpyso Media and Claymore Game Studios have officially announced the long-anticipated release date for Commandos: Origins. Fans can look forward to diving into this next chapter of the beloved franchise on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on April 9, 2025. The pricing structure varies, with the PC version retailing at $49.99, while the console versions will be priced at $59.99.

Studio Director Jürgen Reusswig expressed excitement about the game’s development, stating, “The Green Beret couldn’t have said it better with his iconic phrase ‘Consider it done.’ After more than four years establishing our studio and gathering invaluable community feedback from various playtests, operation ‘Release’ is a go for Commandos: Origins.”

Available Editions and Exclusive Content

Multiple editions of the game will be available at launch, including the Deluxe Edition, which offers dedicated fans exclusive content and nostalgic skins inspired by Commandos 2. The Deluxe Edition features:

• Six Commando skins from Commandos 2 adapted for Commandos: Origins
• A 3D printing template for the Green Beret
• A digital Commandos: Origins calendar
• The Original Soundtrack

For those eager to explore the game without initial commitments, Commandos: Origins will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC. This option allows players to experience the game prior to making a purchase.

Physical Release and Future Console Plans

Gamers who favor physical copies will be pleased to know that retail editions will be available on May 22, 2025. These editions will encompass all content included in the Deluxe Edition, retailing for $49.99. Additionally, versions for the previous generation consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, are expected later in the year.
