Introducing Cantarella: A New 5-Star Character in Wuthering Waves

Kuro Games has unveiled the exciting new 5-star character, Cantarella, as part of the upcoming version 2.2 of Wuthering Waves. This limited-edition character is generating buzz among fans, promising to add depth and intrigue to the game’s evolving storyline.

Visuals and Theme

The promotional materials for Cantarella primarily highlight her artistic representation and rarity. According to a recent announcement from Kuro Games, she will be classified as a Havoc Rectifier character. Notably, her design features an enchanting jellyfish theme, which is evident in both her attire and her parasol, enhancing her mystical appeal.

Character Background

Cantarella is introduced as the 36th head of the esteemed Fisalia family in Rinascita, and she ominously claims the title of “the Bane.”Her character lore suggests an air of mystery with lines like, “dark tides seem to surge and swirl” when one gazes into her eyes, hinting at hidden depths and meanings that players have yet to discover.

Current Game Update

As players eagerly await Cantarella’s arrival, the existing banner currently features Phoebe, another formidable 5-star character categorized as a Spectro Rectifier Resonator. Phoebe’s banner debuted on February 13, 2025, coinciding with the launch of version 2.1. Additionally, players can expect the introduction of Brant, a 5-star Fusion Sword character, later in the current patch cycle.
