Zenless Zone Zero has set January 22 as the launch date for Version 1.5, which promises to enrich the gaming experience with the debut of Astra and Evelyn. HoYoverse is committed to a consistent update schedule, ensuring that players remain engaged through the introduction of new content and characters.

The previous update, Version 1.4, was pivotal for many players, wrapping up several story arcs that commenced at the game’s launch, and unveiling the fan-favorite character Hoshimi Miyabi. As this version approaches its conclusion, HoYoverse has shifted focus to the upcoming content, highlighted during a Special Program livestream devoted to revealing the features of Version 1.5.

In addition to the new agents, Version 1.5 will introduce an exciting special story that picks up after the main plot concluded in Version 1.4. Players can look forward to the S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap, alongside engaging check-in events, further game optimizations, and enhancements to existing features. The upcoming Hollow Zero phase, titled Cleanse Calamity, will allow players to dive into a new arcade-style game called Mach 25, and players can also expect fresh outfits for characters like Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao.

One of the most anticipated features of Version 1.5 is the introduction of banner reruns, a highly requested addition. This aligns Zenless Zone Zero with HoYoverse’s other titles, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, by allowing players to revisit past S-Rank agents. The rerun will commence with Ellen Joe available during the first phase, accompanied by her specific W-Engine. Subsequently, Phase 2 will introduce Qingyi, along with her W-Engine, for fans to pursue.
