Exciting Announcements: G-Mode Brings Classic Titles to Nintendo Switch and Steam

G-Mode has exciting plans to expand its game portfolio by introducing several notable titles to both Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms. The lineup features Armored Core Mobile Mission, Armored Core Mobile 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem, and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX. Initially, Armored Core Mobile Mission and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX will hit the market first.

Release Dates and Availability

Fans eager to experience Armored Core Mobile Mission can now wishlist it on Steam. The game is already available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan (link), while the Steam release is scheduled for April 30, 2025. Meanwhile, Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025, with the PC version following shortly on May 8, 2025. Information regarding the release dates for G-Mode’s versions of Armored Core Mobile 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem will be announced later.

Legacy of G-Mode’s Titles

Originally released as a Japan exclusive in May 2004, Armored Core Mobile Mission marked a significant milestone as it became the first game in its series to be available on flip phones. Similarly, Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX was also released in 2004 specifically for Japanese cellphones and serves as a prequel to the renowned Shin Megami Tensei II. Another noteworthy title is Tokyo Requiem, which was episodically released in Japan, a unique approach for mobile gaming at that time.

Future Prospects

As G-Mode broadens its gaming catalog, it’s clear that titles like Armored Core Mobile Mission are not just nostalgic; they’re paving the way for more adaptations of previously exclusive games. Other noteworthy Japan-exclusive releases from G-Mode include Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission, showcasing the company’s commitment to reviving classic gaming experiences for a new generation.
