Embark Studios is gearing up for the second public playtest of their highly anticipated PvPvE third-person sandbox extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. This exciting event is set to take place from April 30 to May 4, 2025.

The inaugural public playtest occurred last fall, from October 24 to 27, and was exclusively available for PC players. In a significant move to enhance community involvement, this upcoming playtest will allow players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms to join the action alongside their PC counterparts, broadening the game’s reach and player diversity.

How to Participate in the Playtest

For those eager to join the testing phase, the process is straightforward:

• PC gamers can request access via the ARC Raiders Steam page.
• Console players looking to participate for the first time should head to the official ARC Raiders website to submit their requests.
• If you were part of the previous playtest in October, expect an automatic invite. Keep an eye on your email for further updates.

As the development team continues to refine the gaming experience, executive producer Aleksander Grøndal commented, “Over the past six months, we’ve worked hard to expand the core experience, based on community feedback. This is our chance to see how those changes perform at scale.”He expressed particular interest in gathering insights on various aspects such as progression systems, combat dynamics, and cross-platform performance.
