Avowed Guide: Solving the Pargrun Cache Puzzle in Emerald Stair
The Pargrun Caches are unique, treasure-laden sites scattered throughout Avowed, where players can uncover high-quality loot, including armor and weapons. One such cache is located in the Emerald Stair area. However, accessing it requires players to navigate through various puzzles that utilize electrical elements. Successfully solving the challenges within this cache can be particularly beneficial for players who are focused on a wizard or mage build in Avowed.
Finding the Emerald Stair Pargrun Cache
To locate the Pargrun Cache in Emerald Stair, head towards the western side of the Wildwoods. This area is situated just south of Delemgan Glade and is crawling with skeleton soldiers. Players should first defeat the skeletal foes and scour the surroundings for potential loot.
Upon clearing the area, look for a decrepit structure. Enter this building and descend a set of dark stairs to access the underground section. Continue along the path until you reach a gated door secured with an electric lock on the left. Utilize an Electric Lilly Seed or cast spells to unlock this gate, granting access to the principal Pargrun Cache room, where the puzzle awaits.
Strategies for Solving the Emerald Stair Pargrun Cache
Upon entering the Pargrun Cache room, proceed forward to find the door to the loot room locked. To unlock it, turn left and follow the winding path into an adjacent room. Here, you will find an opening in the right wall, through which you can view the loot room.
Utilize an Electric Lilly Seed or a spell to disarm the electric lock on the opposite side of the door, granting you access to the loot room within the Emerald Stair’s Pargrun Cache. Inside, you can claim a unique treasure: Od Caura’s Grimoire, a significant asset for any magic-enhanced character, featuring powerful skills like Returning Storm and Pull of Eora.
After collecting treasures from the main chest, direct your attention to another section in the wall on the right that leads to an additional electric lock. Unlock this door and enter to find another chest containing valuable resources, including Awakened Adra and other useful crafting materials.
