Gathering gold can prove challenging in Avowed, particularly in the initial stages. While there are various avenues to generate income within the game, many of these methods require time and effort before players can see substantial rewards. Fortunately, a few clever exploits can help players quickly boost their gold reserves.
One effective strategy involves duplicating the Woolf Boots during the Nature vs Nurture quest. To successfully execute this glitch, there is a specific sequence of actions that must be followed. Failure to do so may result in the glitch not functioning as intended.
Unlocking Unlimited Wealth in Avowed
Once you arrive at Emerald Stair, the second area players explore in the Living Lands, you will walk through the Farmer’s Market. It is crucial during this visit to avoid interacting with characters to ensure the glitch remains intact. If you have already engaged with some of them, be cautious not to speak with Dolina as this could inadvertently trigger the Nature vs Nurture quest and prevent the glitch from working properly.
Next, head northwest toward the Grim Wetlands until you reach the Fortified Xaurip Camp. Here, you will encounter several xaurips, all of which are non-hostile. Navigate the wooden planks and enter the cave to meet the Hermit, Amadio. Engage him in conversation and select the following dialogue options:
- How are you standing here among these Xaurips?
- So what? You send them out on raids for your own benefit?
- That makes a lot of sense. What’s your plan?
- You’re just trying to protect the land. I support that.
These selections will prompt the Nature vs Nurture side quest in an unconventional manner. Typically, players are more likely to encounter Dolina first before Amadio. After completing the dialogue, return to the Farmer’s Market and follow the quest marker to find Dolina.Wait for her to start a conversation with her companion before approaching her. Choose these dialogue options to continue:
- Having xuarip trouble?
- Maybe we can do something about it.
Following this exchange, engage Dolina again and select the option: [Lie] I took care of your problem. Call off the rangers. If you return to the original location of Amadio in the cave, you will notice he is no longer there; this indicates that the glitch has successfully activated. Exit the cave and move into the muddy area where Amadio will be found again, this time accompanied by a group of xaurips. Interact with him to receive the Wolf Boots as a reward.
This exploit allows you to continuously speak with Amadio, enabling you to receive the same reward repeatedly with each dialogue interaction. Since the Wolf Boots hold a value of 300 coins and do not contribute to your weight limit, you can capitalize on this glitch as often as desired. Once you have amassed a sufficient number of boots, simply sell them to any merchant and revel in your newly acquired wealth.
