Once Human: Strategies for Concealing Cradles and Weapons

In the vibrant realm of Once Human, the visual appeal of character customization is paramount. With every new event, Battle Pass, and shop refresh, players express their unique style through an array of captivating skins. Given the game’s third-person perspective, this aesthetic choice becomes even more significant, allowing players to showcase their appearances during gameplay.
For the developers, character customization is also vital, as it represents the sole monetization strategy through the Battle Pass and associated skins. To enhance player enjoyment, the game has introduced more extensive customization options, enabling an exciting new feature: the ability to render certain pieces of gear invisible. Let’s explore how to conceal your weapons and cradle in Once Human.
How To Conceal Cosmetics And Gear In Once Human
To begin, access your inventory by pressing “i” and navigate to the Cosmetics tab. In the top right corner, you’ll find a new feature labeled Display Setting. Hover over this icon to reveal a list of gear components, each marked with a checkbox.
To hide any gear item, simply uncheck its corresponding box. This action will make that specific piece invisible during gameplay, while still keeping it functional in your loadout.
This feature is particularly advantageous for cradles and unequipped weapons, allowing players to better appreciate the intricate details of their character’s attire. For instance, showcasing skins with elaborate designs on the back becomes much clearer once extraneous items are concealed.
Interestingly, players have the option to hide virtually all gear items, allowing for nearly bare appearances while still maintaining protective clothing against environmental hazards and enemy attacks. While some may prefer visible gear that complements their outfits, this feature serves as an excellent tool for players who actively capture in-game screenshots, particularly when visual coherence is desired.
How To Acquire Cosmetic Items In Once Human
Interestingly, obtaining cosmetic items doesn’t always require spending real money. Throughout various events in Once Human, players can earn cosmetic rewards for free. Although not every event offers free skins, it’s advisable to stay alert for valuable rewards.
In addition to event rewards, players can access the free tiers of the Battle Pass, which regularly feature clothing items and a weapon skin. Furthermore, by progressing through the Battle Pass, players can accumulate Silver Keys, enabling them to purchase additional items from the Top-Up shop.
