Nintendo Collaborates with Bandai for New Gashapon Capsule Toys

Nintendo has officially announced its collaboration with Bandai to introduce a new line of Gashapon capsule magnet toys inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This exciting collection is already available for purchase at Nintendo’s physical retail locations throughout Japan.

Introducing the ‘Zonau Gear Magnet’ Collection

The capsule toy line is aptly named the “Zonau Gear Magnet,” paying homage to the Zonai Devices featured prominently in the highly popular game. Each toy represents iconic items from the game, including:

• Portable Pot
• Fan
• Rocket
• Flame Emitter
• Big Wheel
• Beam Emitter

Notably, these magnet toys are packaged in distinctive capsules adorned with intricate Zonai crests, enhancing their collectible appeal.

Where to Find the New Merchandise

Currently, fans can find these new capsule toys at Nintendo’s stores located in major cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Additionally, the toys are being sold at a temporary pop-up store situated on the sixth floor of Kanazawa Forus, which will remain operational until December 29, 2024.

Availability and Future Releases

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom magnet capsule toys can now be purchased at the Kanazawa Forus pop-up store and select Nintendo outlets, but supplies are limited. For those unable to visit these locations, the toys will also be accessible through Bandai’s Gashapon vending machines in Spring 2025.
