New Nvidia App Set to Launch from Beta with RTX 50 Series Release

In February, Nvidia introduced a new application designed to work seamlessly with its GeForce graphics cards. Simply known as the Nvidia app, its primary aim is to integrate the functionalities of the Nvidia Control Panel, GeForce Experience, and RTX Experience applications into a single platform. Yet, eight months later, the app remains in beta, although there are indications that a full release may be imminent.
Reputable leaker Kopite7kimi, a prominent figure in the Nvidia community, has reported that the app is expected to transition out of beta coinciding with the launch of the new GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.
The initial beta version of the Nvidia app debuted in February alongside the 551.61 driver, merging the aging Nvidia Control Panel with the Optimal Game Settings from GeForce Experience. Notably, users can access its features without the need to log in to an Nvidia account, differing from the current GeForce Experience requirements.
It will be released officially together with RTX 50.

The Nvidia app has adopted features such as the In-Game Overlay UI and AI-enhanced filters like RTX HDR. However, it has also eliminated some legacy functions, including broadcasting to Twitch and YouTube, social media image sharing, and 360 Photo Mode options.
Subsequent updates have introduced various enhancements, such as display configuration settings, app sorting, RTX video controls, and expanded language support. Furthermore, a recent significant update to the Nvidia app added G-SYNC controls to the GPU Control Center, enabled RTX HDR for multiple monitors, introduced a driver rollback feature, revamped the HUD experience, and included numerous quality-of-life improvements.
While Nvidia has yet to provide an official launch date for the Nvidia App or the RTX 50 series, the beta version is currently available for users to download and try out here. Nvidia encourages users to share their feedback as development continues.
