New Minecraft Creaking Mob Emerges as Unmatched Competitor to the Warden

Mojang has recently introduced the new Creaking mob in the forthcoming Minecraft update, which boasts a unique health mechanic. Unlike all other mobs that can be eliminated through melee or ranged attacks, the Creaking remains invulnerable to damage. This exceptional feature is so peculiar that even the Warden, one of the most formidable creatures introduced by Mojang, is unable to conquer the Creaking.
Let’s delve into the reasons why this newly introduced mob, despite having minimal health, can withstand attacks from the game’s most powerful entity.
Why the Warden is unable to defeat the new Creaking mob in Minecraft

The Pale Garden, the biome where the Creaking spawns, is uniquely linked to this new creature. Standard melee and ranged assaults from any weapon are ineffective against the Creaking.
This is due to the fact that its heart is actually concealed within a block located deep inside one of the pale trees in the new biome. When the Creaking is struck, it instantly connects with its heart, negating all incoming damage. The only way to defeat the Creaking is to locate and destroy its heart.
Interestingly, although the Creaking cannot be killed by attacks, it has merely half a heart’s worth of health, essentially represented by the creaking heart block itself. This makes the Creaking one of the most fascinating mobs introduced by Mojang in Minecraft.
The Warden’s confrontation with the Creaking
Despite the Warden’s melee and ranged attacks dealing significant damage—eight hearts and three hearts respectively—it still cannot defeat the Creaking.
The heart of the Creaking is not located within the mob but exists as a block externally, which the Warden is incapable of attacking. As a blind creature, the Warden responds solely to sounds, leading it to attack the body of the Creaking instead of targeting its heart.
Consequently, no matter how persistently the Warden attempts to strike the Pale Garden’s inhabitant, it will remain unable to vanquish this wood-like entity.
In the linked video above, it is evident how the Warden continuously assaults the Creaking, yet the latter shows no signs of distress, effortlessly negating all attacks through its heart’s mechanic.
Notably, the Creaking does not retaliate against the Warden, as it is programmed to focus exclusively on players rather than engaging in conflicts with other mobs.
