Upcoming Marvel Rivals Spring Festival: A New Seasonal Experience

The anticipation builds for the Spring Festival, a fresh seasonal event that will soon launch in Marvel Rivals. This event is set to introduce an exciting new game mode along with intriguing character costumes, starting January 23, 2025.

Introducing the Clash of Dancing Lions Mode

Central to the Spring Festival is the innovative game mode dubbed the Clash of Dancing Lions. In this dynamic 3v3 setup, players will engage in a soccer-like competition where they utilize their unique powers to gain control of the ball. This mode stands out with a design reminiscent of Rocket League, yet it maintains a more traditional approach to soccer—absent of vehicles. Teams will compete to be the first to score a predefined number of goals, adding a layer of strategy and teamwork to the gameplay.

New Costumes Celebrate Lunar Traditions

Alongside the gameplay changes, Marvel Rivals will also unveil a series of new costumes that embody the spirit of the Lunar New Year. Players can look forward to three new outfits inspired by festival lions, featuring character-specific designs:

• Star Lord: Lion’s Mane
• Iron Fist: Lion’s Gaze
• Black Widow: Lion’s Heartbreak

The Lion’s Mane costume will be available immediately as a reward for participating in the Clash of Dancing Lions mode, while the other festive outfits will be rolled out over the subsequent weeks, enriching the celebratory atmosphere of the event.

A Look Back at Seasonal Events

This Spring Festival marks the second seasonal event added to Marvel Rivals since its launch in December 2023. The inaugural event, known as the Winter Festival, introduced players to an engaging time-limited mode where Jeff the Landshark led a unique battle inspired by Splatoon.
