The Daily Grind: Do your MMOs go on break for the holidays?

Congratulations to you because it’s December 26th! You survived the main crush of the holiday, feel good about yourself. And assuming that you belong to a family wherein it’s a tradition, odds are decent that you walked away with new video games, or new books to read, or new things to do other than diving into your familiar MMO haunts all over again. There’s every reason to get up and do something other than, say, making sure to take care of your daily quests for the next few days.
But do you actually take that break? I know people who do, who basically plan for having the 25th away from the game entirely or even an entire week around it. I also know people who treat the game like a warm bath at the end of the day, reassuring and fun even if you’ve already been out celebrating for a while and you have other entertainment available. So do your MMOs go on break for the holidays? Or do you tend to keep playing, even if you have new stuff to do instead?
Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
