Special Anime Defense Traits

Traits are assigned to a unit of choice when rolling. A unit can only have 1 trait at a time, so if you want to change their current one, you have to reroll with a singular Magic Token.

How to Get Traits

To obtain a trait for your unit, look for the NPC with Traits above his head – he stands by the Story Mode entrance! Select a unit and click the orange ‘Reroll’ button to use a Magic Token. All traits have a drop rate chance, so you never know which one your unit will get.

  • Strong I
    • 29.50% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s damage increases by 5%
  • Nimble I
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s cooldowns decrease by 5%
  • Range I
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s range increases by 5%
  • Strong II
    • 29.50% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s damage increases by 10%
  • Nimble II
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s cooldowns decrease by 10%
  • Range II
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s range increases by 10%
  • Strong III
    • 29.50% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s damage increases by 15%
  • Nimble III
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s cooldowns decrease by 15%
  • Range III
    • 24.75% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s range increases by 15%
  • Expertion
    • 9.99% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s gained EXP increases by 20%

    • 1% drop rate chance

    • 0.7% drop rate chance
    • Damage dealt to bosses increases by 25%
    • Range increases by 5%
    • Overall damage increases by 10%
  • Warrior
    • 0.5% drop rate chance
    • Range increases by 10%
    • Cooldowns decrease by 15%
    • Damage increases by 25%
  • Berserker
    • 0.5% drop rate chance
    • Cooldowns decrease by 15%
    • Damage dealt to bosses increases by 25%
    • Overall damage increases by 20%
  • Rich
    • 0.3% drop rate chance
    • Unit’s damage increases by 30%
    • Money earned increases by 25%
  • King
    • 0.1% drop rate chance
    • Range increases by 10%
    • Damage increases by 250%
    • Cooldowns decrease by 5%
  • Monarch
    • 0.05% drop rate chance
    • Range increases by 10%
    • Cooldowns decrease by 10%
    • Damage increases by 275%
    • All units in your party get a 20% damage boost, a 15% range boost, and their cooldowns are reduced by 15%
