Sorcery Simple Domain Guide
To use Simple Domain, you must have fully charged your Cursed Energy. You can see if it is full by checking the bar at the bottom of your screen. When in use, a light blue circle will appear on the ground beneath your feet. This will give an I-Frame from any attacks made by other players who use Domain Expansion or Projectiles. This only works as long as they are outside your AoE circle and will keep you safe from damage.
This ability is all about timing, therefore it may take a while to get the hang of it. If you time it incorrectly, you won’t be able to stop the attacks, and you will get damaged… and lose your Cursed Energy for a short amount of time.
However, even when successful, you will still have a cooldown before you can use any ability requiring Cursed Energy again, such as your Cursed Technique. This is because an unfortunate drawback of the Simple Domain is that it absorbs all your Cursed Energy to use, and will only trigger if your gauge is full.
How To Obtain
To get Simple Domain, you need to head into the Void. To travel here, follow the Open World maker from the Hideout and board the train. This will take you to the Open World. On arrival, turn right at the ‘Teleport Back’ area, where you will find a locked gate. To get inside, you’ll need a Void Key. You can get this rare item as a reward when completing missions. Use the key on the gate to make your way into the long tunnel with purple lights. At the end, you’ll find a lever that you must pull to lower you into the Void.
Once you’re inside, find the Yuki NPC, who is in the corner of some rocks. The easiest way to find her without getting lost is by walking straight from where you spawn, walking under the arch, and keeping your eyes peeled on the left. Pay her 500 Essence, which is the currency in Sorcery, and she will give you Simple Domain. You earn Essence as a reward when completing missions or selling items to the Merchant NPC.
