Sols RNG Corruption Biome Guide

As soon as Corruption sweeps the land, you’ll know. This rapid forecast lays a thick purple fog across the map with bubbling purple particles. Corruption has a slim 1 in 9,000 (0.01111%) chance to appear and lasts only 11 minutes. So, players must act fast when Corruption settles if they want to be in with a chance at its exclusive biome auras and items. This biome is third in terms of rarity, behind the Null biome (1 in 10,100 chance) and Glitched (1 in 30,000 chance).

Corruption Auras

As expected, the Auras found most commonly inside this biome have striking deep purple hues. But, fortunate players may encounter Corruption Auras during rolls outside of the biome thanks to breakthroughs. However, these happen infrequently and if players chase a particular Aura from the biome they’d have an easier time waiting for it to spawn than rely on Breakthrough odds.

  • Hazard – 1 in 1,400 roll chance
    • Breakthrough chance – 1 in 7,000
  • Corrosive – 1 in 2,400 roll chance
    • Breakthrough chance – 1 in 12,000
  • Hazard: Rays (mutation of Hazard) – 1 in 14,000 roll chance
    • Breakthrough chance – 1 in 70,000
  • Astral – 1 in 267,200 roll chance
    • Breakthrough chance 1 in 1,336,200
  • Impeached – 1 in 40,000,000 roll chance
    • Breakthrough chance – 1 in 200,000,000

Corruption Items

Also found within the Corruption biome is the Curruptaine item which appears as small purple bubbles inside a glass jar. Its sole purpose as of Eon 1 (and its addition in Era 7) is to be crafted into the Strange Controller, allowing players to trigger a random biome every 20 minutes.

I recommend server hopping until one is found where each player has high roll counts and high rarity Auras. Then, politely ask if they have the controller to change the biome. If they’re feeling generous, they just might!

It seems you've stumbled upon my bio! I'm Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it's safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime... That said, watch One Piece! (Or don't I'm just a biography.)
