How to Use Sluices

With a Sluice, you can place it wherever you want in the water, and it gradually collects random minerals. It even works when you’re offline, too! So, you can log in after a few hours, and your Sluice will be full. Depending on the Sluice you use, the amount of minerals it collects differs due to its Capacity stat.

The higher the Luck stat of a Sluice, you have an increased chance of getting rare minerals. The Toughness stat lets you know where you can place your Sluice. If the Toughness is too low for a specific area, you cannot place it down. The Efficiency stat determines the speed of collection for the Sluice! The higher the Efficiency, the faster it fills up.

How to Get Sluices in Prospecting

The only way to get Sluices in Prospecting so far is by spending your in-game coins. Like with Shovels and Pans, look for the shopkeepers that sell Sluices! The locations that currently sell Sluices are Fortune River, Rubble Creek, and the Magma Furnace. Just make sure you save up your coins!
