Prospecting Pink Diamond

The Pink Diamond is one of the easier Mythic rarity minerals to find, thanks to its lesser value and appearance across many coastlines around the map. Per KG, the Pink Diamond sells for $6,000,000. Visually, it appears the same as the standard diamond; however, it has a lovely pink tint.

As for locations, the Pink Diamond appears between the sands and rubble of the following locations:

  • Rubble Creek Sands
    • Toughness: 1
  • Rubble Creek Deposits
    • Toughness: 2
  • Fortune River
    • Toughness: 3
  • Fortune River Delta
    • Toughness: 4
  • Volcanic Sands
    • Toughness: 4

How To Find a Pink Diamond

It all comes down to luck and capacity, two vital stats attached to your pan. I recommend maxxing your luck as much as possible through the use of totems, equipment, potions, friend buffs, codes, quest completions, meteor showers, and enchants.

For reference, I found my first Pink Diamond with around x150~ Luck using the Aurora Pan, various Luck-enhancing equipment, and a Luck Totem placed on the coast of Volcanic Sands.

That said, the more Luck you have, the better, as Mythic items are exceptionally rare and don’t typically surface unless the player has x500+ Luck.

As for capacity, this allows your pan to hold more materials per dig. All this does is add more chances for one of your found materials to be the elusive Pink Diamond.

Aside from filling in your journal and claiming the first discovery Shards, the Pink diamond appears in two expensive, yet overpowered, equipment forge recipes. This includes:

    • Requires: x3 Rose Gold, x5 Golden Pearls, and x1 Pink Diamond

      • Luck: 10-90
      • Size Boost: 0-90%
      • Sell Boost: 0-180%

    • Requires: x1 Diamond, x1 Prismara, x1 Pink Diamond, x5 Borealite, x1 Luminum, x1 Starshine
    • Buffs:
      • Luck: 5-20
      • Dig Strength: 2-10
      • Capacity: 10-40
      • Dig Speed: 5-20%
      • Shake Strength: 1-3
      • Shake Speed: 5-20%
      • Sell Boost: 10-20%
      • Size Boost: 5-20%
      • Modifier Boost: 5-20%
