In this guide, I walk you through the steps to becoming Hollow, then detail exactly what you need to do to progress through the various different stages, from Red Eye to full-blown Vasto Lorde.
Peroxide is a Roblox RPG that draws inspiration from the anime series Bleach. You battle enemies to increase your power, eventually becoming a Hollow, Soul Reaper, or Quincy. At that point, it’s all about developing your build, paying attention to Shikai, Bankai, Resurrection abilities, and more. Can you become the best?

Roblox Hollow Progression Guide
Now, let’s take a look at all of the different stages of becoming, and progressing as, a Hollow.
How to Become Hollow
First, let’s take a look at becoming a Hollow. This is the easy part, as all you have to do is die, and pretty much any Roblox player will help you with that. Once you’re dead, simply press G to remove your soul chain. That’s it! You’re a Hollow.
Red Eye Progression
Now that you’re a Hollow, it’s time to progress to the next phase: Red Eye. Again, this step is pretty easy, as all you have to do is level up to 20 by killing other Hollows. This step is made much easier if you travel to Heco Mundo, which, as a Hollow, you can do by pressing 1.
Here, just explore the map and kill Hollows wherever you find them until you achieve level 20. Congratulations, you’re a Red Eye!
Gilian Progression
As soon as you’re a Red Eye, you can make a start on Gilian progression. This step can prove quite challenging, as it involves killing another Red Eye. If you die in this fight, you also have to start over from the beginning, which can prove quite frustrating.
Menoscar or Adjuchas
Once you’re a Gilian, you have a choice: become a Menoscar or Adjuchas. To make this decision easier for you, here are the stats you get for each of them:
- Menoscar:
- +35 HP
- +20% XP
- Adjuchas:
- Pull off your mask to become an Adjucar
- Can unlock the Ancient title, which boosts your stats and makes Vasto progression easier
- Adjucar:
- 0.5x stat buff
- +40% XP
- +50 HP
- +5 to max level
So it’s either a flat HP and XP buff, or the potential to become an Adjucar. If you do manage to get the Ancient title, your Vasto Lorde progression will be much easier later on but it’s a gamble.
How to Become a Menoscar
If you insist on becoming a Menoscar, simply press G to remove your mask while playing as a Gilian.
How to Become an Adjuchas
If you want to become an Adjuchas, simply survive for 30 minutes as a Gilian or Menoscar and kill 30 Hollows during that time.
How to Become an Adjucar
If you want to become an Adjucar, simply press G to take off your mask while playing as an Adjuchas.
Vasto Lorde Progression
The final stage in your Hollow progression is the almighty Vasto Lorde, and it’s by far the most challenging step. You have to gain 1,700 Hollow XP, with all of the XP you have accrued so far counting. Different Hollow types provide you with a different amount of XP, and here’s a breakdown:
- Hollow: 1 XP
- Red Eye: 3 XP
- Gilian: 5 XP
- Adjuchas: 10 XP
- Ancient Gilian: 12 XP
- Ancient Adjuchas: 25 XP
- Vasto Lorde: 50 XP
- Ancient Vasto Lorde: 75 XP
- Storm Arrancar: 100 XP
Accrue 1,700 Hollow XP and you become a Vasto Lorde.
How to Become Vastocar
Vastocar is the most powerful form of Hollow in Peroxide, and you can become one by simply taking off your mask as a Vasto Lorde. Bear in mind that if you take your mask off at any of the earlier progression phases, you can’t become a Vastocar.
Vastocar’s gain access to the following stats:
- +15% stat buff
- +80% XP buff
- +80 HP
- +10 to max level
Peroxide Hollow Death Penalties
At each stage of the Peroxide Hollow progression, there is a different penalty for dying. We thought we’d break that down in a separate section of the guide.
- Hollow: Resets your Hollow kills, effectively making you start over to achieve Red Eye.
- Red Eye: Reset back to Hollow. Kill another Red Eye or wait 30 minutes to get Red Eye again.
- Gilian / Menoscar / Adjuchas / Adjucar / Vasto Lorde: Lose 60 Hollow XP (can’t go below 1,250 Hollow XP)
Where is Shady Arrancar?
Shady Arrancar is a handy NPC that allows you to check your Hollow progression at any point. This is particularly useful during the Vasto Lorde progression phase, as it takes so long to gather the required XP.
You can find Shady Arrancar by the Cafe, in a nearby alleyway.
How to Get Your Peroxide Hollow Segunda Etapa
At some point in your Hollow journey, you’re going to want to get your Segunda Etapa. This is a challenging step that’s very risky before you become a Vastocar or Vasto Lorde, so it might be worth achieving those steps first. In fact, Vastocar makes this step a lot faster as you need to be level 90 to acquire your Segunda Etapa.
You also need to accrue 420 points from completing the following activities:
- Beat a Time Gate: 75 points
- Beat a Boss: Gain a point per % of HP damaged
- Defeat a Storm Vastocar: 10 points
- Complete an Invasion: 5 points for stealing, 12 for killing guards, and 22 for killing a leader (level 80+ only)
Once you have enough points, head on over to Menos Forest and find the damaged building. Jump into the hole and beat the Hollow Prince to gain access to your Segunda Etapa.
To activate it, press G while your Resurrection is activated and your Segunda Etapa bar is full.
