Is there an Infinity Nikki Multiplayer mode? I answer this question below, discussing how multiplayer-friendly the game is, and if co-op play is available.

Take photos together in Infinity Nikki! Take a look at our Infinity Nikki Tier List, which ranks all ability outfits. Or, we have an Infinity Nikki Voice Actors guide – do you recognise anyone?

Infinity Nikki Multiplayer

The big question is: does Infinity Nikki support multiplayer gameplay? The answer is yes… and no.

The Current Multiplayer Mode

If you’re playing Infinity Nikki, you’re already connected to the internet. With that, you’re automatically online every time you log into the game, meaning you have direct access to players on your friends list, whom you can message.

Aside from the instant messaging feature in the Friends section of your Pear Pal, you can also take photos with other players. That is if you come across their Snapshot Hourglass! After reaching a certain point in the main storyline, and achieving the Skilled Stylist progression title, you start to see these mysterious hourglasses floating around.

Snapshot Hourglasses

Interact with them to view a snapshot taken by another player! You can choose to send a Like to the player and you can also take a picture with them. If you’re happy with the photo, you can post it up publicly, whilst sending a friend request to them afterwards.

This is the only player interaction available in the game as of right now. It’s a shame, as I was hoping to visit my friends in-game to take photos together. So, notably, there are no co-op features in Infinity Nikki at this current time. However, this could be something the developers may add to the game in the future, as it seems a bit pointless at the moment to have a Friend function that doesn’t do much else except send instant messages.

I’m not sure if the other player gets an alert if you take a group photo with them, though they should be able to tell from the random friend request they receive. It’s still fun though, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to the social side of Infinity Nikki.
