How To Travel Studs Quickly In Fisch

First, let’s get into the problem. If you want to skip the yap, head to the Best Stud Travel Method heading!

The Stud Problem

A Stud refers to a measurement of distance in Fisch, and overall Studs travelled will increase through any mode of transportation including walking, sailing, gliding and diving. It may seem obvious to simply hop in a high-speed boat and lap around the map border, but I’ve discovered this isn’t the best way to complete this quest.

I currently use the 150 top speed per second boat, the Holiday Speedboat. 150 S/PS is generous, placing this boat quite high in the overall speed tier list. However, after weaving through the main islands and returning to Moosewood to check progression, I’d supposedly only moved 800 (roughly) Studs!

This posed a time challenge since to complete the 100k Studs, I’d need to sail for hours or throw in the towel and wait for tomorrow’s reset quest. But, with so much free time, I compared travel methods and stumbled upon the best

Best Stud Travel Method

You’ll have to trust the process here, but the best Stud method is genuinely walking. If you’re a PC player like myself, you can hold down the forward and one of the side arrow keys to move your avatar in a constant circle. This safely lets you travel Studs without changing direction or being attentive to the game itself. Now you can travel thousands of Studs in no time and get back to the grind!
