How To Reach Special Grade in Sorcery Guide
Sorcery has numerous ways to track your progress between the player level and grading system. Certain tasks and prestige require being at a specific level or grade, and both subjects weave together making the process of grading up simpler thanks to the levelling system. To view your current grade, head to the Menu page and take a look at the stats of your current save.
Reaching Level 99
To reach Special Grade, you must first become player level 99. This process is time-consuming but relatively simple. In short, you’ll need to complete Missions successfully, which adorns you with Essence, items, and experience towards your level and grade. Missions trigger at random when you enter, some much easier than others.
- Savior (easy) – Find hostages using E+N to activate sense, then move them to safety.
- Cursed Object (easy) – Locate the Red Circle and sacrifice blood, keeping the Cursed Object above 0%.
- Devour (medium) – Kill all humans in the area.
- Execution (medium) – Invade the mission of another player and execute them.
- Exterminate Curses (difficult) – Kill all curses in an area before the timer expires.
Surpassing Level 99 – Becoming Special Grade!
Once at level 99 from completing Missions, you’ll be able to access the Culling Games located in the Open World. Trying to enter before reaching the level cap will result in refusal. The Culling Games is a 40-minute minigame with 8 player participants. The goal is simple, get 1 kill to earn an Extraction. Every player kill knocks 5 minutes off the game timer, meaning it takes 8 kills to complete the game early.
So, if you enter the Culling Games and any opponent player gets 2 kills or more, this guarantees that one person fails to receive an Extraction. An Extraction allows players to leave the game successfully, and without one, the losing players will be on a long cooldown timer before the game allows them to re-enter.
However, being successful in the Culling Games allows players to prestige past level 99, and gives them the Special Grade title alongside learning the Reversed Cursed Technique skill. Proceeding past level 99 lets players unlock more Cursed Technique movesets, and gain their Domain Expansion at level 150.
