How to Find the Vizard NPC in Type Soul
Before searching for the Vizard NPC, you need to collect 10 Hogyoku Fragments and reach Elite Grade. Easier said than done, right? Hogyoku Fragments are one of the most difficult and rarest items to get in the game.
Vizard NPC Location
There is no set location for the Vizard NPC, apart from the fact that they spawn in Hueco Mundo. You must explore Hueco Mundo until you find the Vizard NPC, as its exact location is random each time. Oh, and their name is random, too! Don’t worry, though, once you spot them, you’ll know that it’s the Vizard NPC you’re looking for.
Once you find the Vizard, you must grip it to begin the boss fight. If you manage to defeat the boss, you unlock your Vizard! It’s a little annoying having to try to find a random NPC in a vast area like Hueco Mundo, but look at it as an opportunity to farm some EXP and drops!
How to Get Hogyoku Fragments
So, before you can find the Vizard NPC, you need 10 Hogyoku Fragments. To obtain this item, you must take part in various game modes in the hopes that it drops as a reward, but you can also trade with other players. The game modes include:
- Clan Wars
- Ranked matches (1v1)
- Raids (faction)
Unlocking Vizard
After you unlock Vizard, you can equip the mask. Text starts to appear across your screen that provides hints as to what the next step is. There are three different quests that you can potentially get, which are completely random. Pay attention to the hints to work out which one you have! The quests may be:
- Enter the Shikai World by meditating and then defeat your Shikai
- Defeat 200 Shinigami
- Win 10 raids (can be any raid type)
