Not sure how to get max Aura in Hit the Thrift? Our guide goes over how to increase your Aura quickly! If you need a break from Hit the Thrift, check out our Grow a Garden NPC Friendship guide, which teaches you about the new feature.

How to Get Max Aura in Hit the Thrift

To start, you need to equip clothes to gain Aura! The amount of Aura you obtain depends on the rarity of the clothing you put on. Of course, you can sell items to Craig for money, but you also need to style yourself, too. Your Aura increases over time as you play the game.

The whole point of Hit the Thrift is to purchase requested items from Craig, wash them in the laundromat, and then sell them to him. He’s banned from the thrift shops after reselling too many items, so he’s put you up to the task.

Upgrades

There are upgrades that you can purchase with in-game cash! One of these is the Aura Multiplier, which boosts your Multiplier gain by 1x per upgrade. It has a maximum of 5x Aura! The first upgrade from level 1 to 2 costs 1K in-game coins. Click on the icon to the left that has an upwards green arrow to open the in-game shop.

Why Do You Need Aura?

Some areas are locked behind Aura requirements, so really, you need to increase your Aura as quickly as possible so that you have access to the entire game. Plus, the main goal of the game is to have a high amount of Aura! The more Aura you have, the more money you earn when selling clothing items to Craig.

The upstairs of the thrift shop is accessible after you earn a total of 1K Aura, which offers more items (some much rarer than those on the ground floor) to purchase, sell, and equip.
